Who Are We? Why Are We Here?
WHO? A Garden of Dreams in Eureka Springs, AR.
WHY? Let's step back in time, shall we? It is 1973 and my high school sweet heart has just asked me to marry him. So I am planning my wedding. In the 70's every bride did live flowers. To be honest, it was a good thing, because the term "Fake Flowers" came into existence because the non-live flower were horrible plastic things, that looked fake. But my journey began with my own wedding. So fast forward to my brother's wedding, they were getting married in Reno, NV at a little chapel and my future sister in law, wanted me to make her bouquet. So we are talking early 1980's and the "fake flower" world had improved a little to the fabric, kinda real looking flowers. So I had something to work with... Go forward a little, to the 1990's, I am now a wedding coordinator for the Little Brown Church of Sunol. Move a little more into the 90's and it is my in laws 50th wedding anniversary, and there I am, making my mother in laws gold wedding bouquet. "Fake Flowers" are still not looking too much better, but there are more choices. So fast forward to 2009, and here I am, operating a wedding chapel and providing "silk flower" bouquets. So finally after 30+ years the "faux flower" industry has finally produced "life like" flowers and I am in heaven. So the point? All through the years of experience with the wedding industry, one of the most regrets Brides have, is not to be able to "Save" their bouquet. So that is why I am doing this, so Brides can do just that.
P.S. My husband and I will be celebrating our 42nd wedding anniversary in 2016! My sister in law is celebrating her 27th wedding anniversary in 2016 and my in laws have both passed on, but they were together over 60 years.Have any questions? email: firstname.lastname@example.org
